Where do you ship?
We ship islandwide in Singapore. Join our mailing list for updates as we expand internationally.
When will you ship?
In-stock items are typically fulfilled and shipped out within 2-3 business days unless otherwise noted on the website. Please note that orders placed on a Friday may not ship until Monday.
How much is shipping?
Delivery is complimentary across Singapore for orders above $60.
For orders under $60, our delivery fees depend on the size and weight of the item(s).
How can I change my shipping address?
We try to process orders very quickly, but please email us at help@goodchonk.com and we’ll do our best to have the address updated before it is sent out.
Returns
What is your return policy?
We always want you to love your items as much as we do! That said, if you’re not completely satisfied or change your mind, we're happy to initiate the return process within 14 days of your delivery date (includes weekends).
To begin a return, email us at help@goodchonk.com. Please note that customers will have to cover the return delivery costs.
What are the conditions for returns?
We only accept returned items for a refund if they are:
- Unused, unwashed and in the same condition as when you received them
- Not soiled or damaged
- In its original packaging with tags
- Returned within 14 days of the delivery date
Do not throw away any item's tags or packaging until you know you're keeping it — we'll need those to make the return.
We cannot accept returns after 14 days. Please note that customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment, hence we recommend that you use an insured and trackable mail service when mailing your return.
How long does it take to process a return?
For most items, it typically takes 1 week to process a return. Once the return is inspected and processed, we’ll refund your original form of payment and we’ll be sure to send you an e-mail notification to let you know it has gone through.
I received the wrong product, what do I do?
Please e-mail us at help@goodchonk.com with a photo of what was received and we’ll take care of it right away.
Dog Bed & Dog Bed Covers
How do I clean my pet bed insert?
The bed insert does not need to be washed as kapok fibres are naturally antibacterial and resistant to dust mites. We do not recommend this as well as placing them in the wash can cause the fibres to clump, which results in a lumpy surface that may render the bed unusable.
How do I clean my pet bed cover?
While our pet bed covers are machine washable, we recommend hand washing whenever possible to help retain its water-repellent coat for longer.
- In both machine and hand wash, always wash with similar colours in cold water using a mild liquid detergent
- For machine washes, wash in the gentlest cycle
- For hand washes, do not leave the cover to soak for an extended period of time as this can cause the cotton to shrink; do not wring dry
- Hang dry only and if desired, iron on the lowest heat setting with a cloth or towel placed between the cover and iron to prevent the water-repellent coat from melting
Please read our list of detergent ingredients to avoid, as they can cause premature fading and discolouring.
For daily maintenance, we recommend removing trapped fur with a lint roll or vacuum, and spot clean dirt with a damp cloth.
How do I avoid fading or discolouring?
Due to the porous quality of their fibre, natural fabrics such as cotton tend not to hang onto dye well and are expected to fade over time with wash.
To help the vibrancy of your pet bed cover last longer, please avoid using detergents with the following, as these ingredients can cause premature fading:
Bleach or bleach additives and optical brighteners, which are showing up in more and more detergents these days. There is some debate about the environmental and health effects of optical brighteners, but they can cause colours to fade or discolour. Look for any of these names on your detergent bottle:
- Optical brightening agents (OBAS)
- Optical whiteners
- Fluorescent brightening agents
- Fluorescent brighteners
- Fluorescent optical brighteners
- Fluorescent whitening agents (FWAS)
- Fluorescent white dyes
- Organic fluorescent dyes
Is my bed water-repellent?
Yes! However, as with any item, it will lose some of its water repellent coat over time with each wash. We recommend hand washing where possible to retain the water repellent coat for longer.
*Please note that while the cover is water-repellent, it is not waterproof, and large puddles of water can seep through and damage the inner cushion. However, the water-repellent cover is designed to dry quickly and is easy to clean, making it a convenient option for pet owners.
Iron-On Patches
How do I apply my patch?
Peel back your patch from the card backing and ensure the sticky dot has been fully removed, then follow the steps below to apply your patch:
- Set your iron to a hot cotton setting
- Place your patch in the desired position
- Cover the patch with a thin cloth
- Iron both sides with firm pressure for 30-40 seconds
- Optional: Ensure your patch stays down by stitching the corners down
- Place the new and improved bandana on your dog!
Please note that the patch is suitable only for fabrics that can withstand the heat of an iron.
Where can I apply my patch to?
You can iron your patch on to any material that can withstand the heat of an iron. i.e., natural fibres like cotton and linen are perfect. You can also apply your badge to a canvas harness, bag or our bed — the options are endless! In this case, we recommend stitching the badge using needle and thread, or a sewing machine.
My patch got dirty. Can I wash it?
We recommend a gentle cycle on your washing machine or a hand wash. After a few washes, the iron-on backing may begin to weaken. If this happens, we recommend stitching down the corners as and when you need.
